Lovely Apartment Near Hudson River

A great apartment on the Hudson river. Just around the corner the metro and good supermarket. Beautiful area with nice houses, very safe neighborhood. Good communication via email with Phyllis. Recommended if you fly to Newark: Take the shuttle to Times Square 42nd street, hence the A subway stop 181. The taxi cost us $ 106! All in all a great time was had by the beautiful apartment, I can recommend it to anyone. Pauline Arnoldus Netherlands

The apartment was nice and comfortable, situated in a quiet neighborhood near the Hudson River. There are several coffee shops, stores and restaurants nearby and it’s very convenient. There are also some parks close by. Ms. Bloom showed us everything in and around the apartment and was very organized and helpful. She was respectful and understanding. The location is not that close to all the tourist places in Manhattan (Times Square) but it’s very close to a Subway station, and it was easy to get anywhere by train.

We are an older Australian couple who stayed in Phyllis's apartment in northern Manhattan for five nights in November 2012.The apartment was warm, comfortable, clean and very convenient with the "A" train close by which was express to mid and lower Manhattan. Shops were within five minutes walk including a general store and a couple of good cafes/restaurants We were there during an unseasonal snow storm which was very exciting. Phyllis enquired after our well-being as often as the limited communication system (following hurricane Sandy) allowed. It was wonderful to have the use of the full apartment and not have to share the bathroom! In summary, a good choice at a reasonable price.

Perfect location near the express train and nice neighbourhood to cool down after the rush downtown. The appartment is very cosy and comfortable. Phylis was very welcoming and the communication was clear. We had a wonderful time!

Nette, ruhige, saubere Wohnung in einem guten Viertel mit Air Condition. Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt.

Schöne Wohnung in einem eher ruhigen Stadtteil von New York. Sehr gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und subway -Verbindungen direkt um die Ecke. Die Schlüsselübergabe war bestens organisiert, leider hatten wir keinen persönlichen Kontakt mit Phyllis, aber eine sehr gute email-Kommunikation. Absolut weiter zu empfehlen !!!!
