At the shadow of Saint Peter: apartment up to 4 with wonderful view

We arrived at the apartment just as the new Pope was announced and went out on the balcony to hear the bells ringing in St.Peter's! The photos do not do justice to how close the Basilica and Vatican is to the apartment - 5 mins walk at the most. Our hosts had arranged a taxi to collect us at the airport, which was waiting for us and they met us at the apartment with the keys and the shopping that I had requested. They really couldn't have been more helpful and charming and even bought a large Easter egg for our children as a gift! The apartment is excellent and has every appliance that you would need including free WiFi and there is a hairdryer in the bathroom cupboard too! The location is amazing, 5 mins to the Vatican - 10 mins to Castel Saint Angelo, 20 mins walk to Piazza Navona, Pantheon etc. There is a Carrefour supermarket 3 mins walk further up the hill, which is very well stocked. Taxis are cheap to get around in, but you can walk to most places very easily. Highly recommended - we would go back tomorrow!

Sehr schön gelegene Wohnung mit Blick auf St. Peter. Auch der Kontakt und Service sind sehr empfehlenswert. Dennoch ist die Wohnung nicht sauber und lassen zu wünschen übrig.

Highly recommendable!! We had a wonderful stay in the appartment which was well situated only a few minutes walk from the Sct. Peters Church and the Vatican Museum. The appartment can easily host 4 persons and it has all the necessary accommodations including washing machine, stowe, micro wave oven and WiFi. The place is nice and tidy and it has a small and cousy balcony with a nice view of the Sct. Peters dome. The people managing the appartment are very kind and helpful and they assisted us both prior to arrival and during our stay. It has a very convenient location with easy access by foot (30-50 minutes) to most of the attractions like Pantheon, The Spanish Stairs, Trevi fountain, Campo de Fiori, Piazza Navonno and teh Tiber Island. The area around the appartment (Trastevere) is very nice and within 20 minutes walk you are in the middle of the old part of Trastevere with narrow streets and you will experience the genuine Rome there. Next time we visit Rome we will book the same appartment again.

This property is really close to St Peter's Basilica and the Vatican City. There is a local bus service into the city or you can walk a short distance to the subway. Nearby, you can find a supermarket, other shops cafes/bars/gelateria and banking facilities. If you are driving, local parking is reasonably priced. We recommend the Roma pass (gets you straight into the Colosseum and one other museum as well as unlimited public transport) and pre-booking (internet) your Vatican City tour.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit zu dritt in Rom, hilfsbereite Vermieter, die sich auch bei Problemen mit der Haustür einsetzten und uns eine Abholung und Hinfahrt zum Flughafen für 45,- € anboten. Die Lage ist sehr zentral und vom Balkon hat man einen tollen Blick auf den Petersdom. Ein Supermarkt ganz in der Nähe ermöglicht eine gute Versorgung. Absolute Empfehlung!

Excellent appartment and location, very clean and close to everything you must see in Rome. It is placed in a very safe area of the city. The hosts were very nice, and explained us everything we needed. EXCELLENTE MUY RECOMENDABLE!!! con un balcón para tomarse una birra con vista al Vaticano!!!

De ligging, zeer centraal, Het appartement was mooi en ruim. De keuken kan een opknapbeurt gebruiken.

Wij hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad in Rome. Het appartement was schoon en heerlijk ruim. Wij waren met 3 personen. De lokcatie is prima. Je bent met 20 minuten lopen in de stad. Ook om de hoek waren er leuke restaurants en een supermarkt. Bij mijn volgende trip naar Rome, boek ik zeker weer dit appartment. Wij hebben het heerlijk gehad en inderdaad het uitzicht op de bij avond verlichte koepel van de Sint Pieter is mooi.

Excellent séjour à Rome qui est une ville magnifique. L'appartement est idéalement situé, tout est à proximité. L'essentiel des visites peuvent se faire à pied mais on trouve également un arrêt de bus à 2 minutes qui permet d'aller facilement dans le centre. Adresse à recommander!
