Réka-apartment close to the Margit-sziget

Es war eine tolle Reise nach Budapest in einer wunderschönen und gemütlichen Ferienwohnung. Es war dort alles vorhanden, was das Herz begehrt. TV, W-Lan, Kühlschrank, Geschirr, Geschirrspüler, Fön etc etc. Dort könnte man auch ohne Probleme mehrere Wochen wohnen! It was a very nice trip to Budapest. We lived in a wonderful flat. It had everything you could wish for. TV, W-Lan, hairdryer(!), dishes, dishwasher, fridge, comfortable beds, etc etc! You could live in it for weeks without a doubt!

Het appartement ziet er zeer verzorgd uit en is gelegen in een rustige straat. Geen geluiden van verkeer en toch in de stad. Wij hebben fietsen gehuurd en het prima naar onze zin gehad. Bert en Anja

Vi var afsted 2 voksne og et barn på 2 år. Lejligheden er perfekt til det, lige den rigtige størrelse. lidt presset ville det nok være at være 4 personer. Lejligheden fremstår pæn og meget fint rengjort. Ikke en finger at sætte der. Lejligheden ligger centralt. Réka er meget venlig og hjælpsom. Kom bl.a. babu, da vi havde låst os ude. Vi havde meget godt vejr, over 22 grader, men lejligheden var behaglig kølig, vil måske være kold om vinteren ? /Klaus.

I have finde Réka"s apartement nice and clean, I have spend a very nice time there, it is in a very good aera for a good price!!It was cold also, a little bit humidity, but this not annoying , and normaly in this old down- town houses!!! My advice is: take this property

Réka’s apartment is a small, ground-level suite and the pictures on Wimdu are accurate. She has an attractive and well-equipped place despite a few small concerns (see below). A bigger concern: if renting this place during the rainy, winter months be advised that her place is damp feeling and smells musty due to the leaky window located in the bedroom area. There is black mold growing around the entire window area (which we cleaned with bleach) and the floor is weakened from water damage. At times, we had to use towels to dry up the water off the sill and floor. Also, as the temperature was minus six during our stay, we could not open the window to help dissipate the musty odors. None of this would be an issue if we were renting this place during the drier, warmer months. It was so unpleasant and unsanitary that we had to vacate halfway through our 8-night stay. We received no compensation for the remaining nights we already paid for and no help from Réka other than the advice to leave the window open for half an hour along with her comment “that’s the way old 100-year old buildings are.” Be advised: if you do not report this problem to Wimdu within the first 24 hours of taking her place you will receive no refund at all. As well, be advised: the pictures of the neighborhood on Wimdu are accurate enough but the building pictured with the rounded balcony is not her apartment building. Hers is located across the street (not pictured) and is unit #1 despite the different last name listed on the apartment panel (starts with the letter W). Some small concerns: the bath-tub stopper mechanism doesn’t work and there are no instructions for the laundry machine. Finally, there is no dryer and no shower curtain, items that are normally not equipped in suites in countries like Hungary anyway. Take my advice: find another property!

Recommended! Great apartment in a very good location: we have visited the whole city center by foot and the apartment is really cozy and has everything you need.

Reka estuvo muy correcta. El estudio es ideal calidad-precio. Céntrico, abundantes enseres de cocina y baño: toallas, trapos de cocina...

Central apartment, well located and equipped with everything you need. Excellent value for money. The only drawback is that it has some moisture. Moreover, quite recommendable.
