New, Central Apartment in Istanbul

Zarifi's flat is brilliant. It is in a fantastic location so that we really felt like we were part of the local atmosphere of Istanbul. Its a great size and had everything we needed. On the first night we thought that there might have been a problem with the boiler (it turned out to be nothing) but we contacted Zarifi and she made sure that there was someone to take a look at the problem immediately. We felt like we were in reliable hands. I would definitely stay there again.

Zarifi is a very good and friendly host, she always reacted immediately to all my SMS and went through a lot of trouble to get the WiFi fixed, which was down when we arrived. The apartment is equipped with everything you might need and we felt really comfortable there. It´s very spacious for 2 people and even big enough for a family with 2 kids. The location is perfect and couldn´t be better: Just a very short walk to Taksim square and Istiklal Avenue, where in the evening all the action takes place. And it´s just a short trip by tram to Sultanahmet, where most of the historical sights are. On our way downhill to the nearest tram stop we usually bought some simits and/or böreks in one of the small shops for breakfast - very convenient. Downhill is also a port where you can catch the ferry to Üsküdar. In the evening we normally took the Füniküler up to Taksim, as we were too lazy to walk uphill. On the short walk (less than 5 minutes) from Taksim to the apartment we passed some neighborhood shops where we could buy water, fruit and other essentials.

Great host and very nice apartment! We stayed there with two young children and the apartment has all the basic facilities. Location is great so it was very easy to hop on and off Istiklal and the shore. Highly recommended!!

Fantastic place! The location is central, great area, Ayse, the inhabitant is glorious. It is also a good place to work, or stay for a longer period. Also Zarifi, the organizer is quite good. I had a marvelous stay and still happy that I met these great people.

Zarifi ist eine tolle, kompetente und zuverlässige Gastgeberin! Auf der Taxifahrt vom Flughafen zu unserer Istanbuler Wohnung wurde es uns dermassen schlecht, dass wir Hals über Kopf das Taxi verliessen und unserer Rucksack darin vergassen. Darin befand sich das Handy, ein Laptop, die Wohnungsschlüssel, das Flugticket und ein Chanel 5. Zum Glück plauderten wir auf der langen Fahrt mit dem Chauffeur, sodass wir seinen Namen und andere Details wussten. Zarifi telefonierte drei Mal mit dem Flughafen und der Taxichauffeur brauchte uns den Rucksack! Natürlich gegen ein Entgelt. Mit der Wohnung waren wir zufrieden: Sie ist klein aber fein, ruhig und schön. Kochutensilien sind nicht grosszügig vorhanden, aber im Quartier kann man gut essen. Der oberste, vierte Stock bietet eine grandiose Sicht auf den Bosporus, könnte aber für ältere Leute mühsam sein. Besonders, wenn man den ganzen Tag in dieser spannenden Stadt unterwegs ist. Das Quartier ist ruhig und doch zentral.Wir werden sicher wieder in diese Wohnung zurückkehren!

I will start with the good things: - the flat is really nice, very cosy, just as you can see in the pictures, romantic atmosphere , I think the perfect place for a couple in love. The location is perfect, really beautiful neighbourhood full of nice bistrot, bars and shops , just few minutes from Taksim square. The bad things: the description says " Top floor apartment ! " it was more correct to write 5th floor apartment WITHOUT elevetor , 90 stairs(!) to reach it. This is an important detail that I think is not fair to hide . For sure if I had known I would not have chosen this accomodation The bathroom is microscopic, even difficult to wash your face. Anyway I would suggest this place for a young bohemienne couple

Très bon accueil. Chambre simple mais très bien située à côté de Taksim. Pour petit budget sans chichis.

Cosy little apartment and wonderful host. We would definitively recommend this accommodation in Istanbul!
