Charming studio in the heart of Istanbul with Galata Tower view

Our stay in Istanbul was indeed a memorable one. The location of this apartment is just perfect. Yalcin was a warm host and very quick in his response. The apartment is basic but self sufficient and makes you feel at home after spending long day travelling. Small eateries, super markets are walking distance. We shall certainly recommend this place; and would visit Yalcin again!

We definitely enjoyed to stay at the studio: it's placed perfectly central to everything in the city, the rooms are clean and the beds comfortable. Yalcin is a generous host, caring for us and giving us heaps of great recommendations that made our stay a fantastic experience. Thank you, we will come back!!

Really nice rooms, very comfortable bed, plain mediterranian feeling, a creative, friendly host - and the best of all: Your're in the middle of Instanbul's european heart Galata whith it's pulsing nights, hundreds of restaurants, fancy little shops, the tower and tünel. It's only a few minutes by foot to the ferryboats and the tram, whitch brings you to all the historc sites. We had a marvellous stay! Our Commendation!

Ein kleiner Unterschlupf inmitten des touristisch geprägten Galata Turmes. Wer meint, sich hier in der Szene zu befinden, der täuscht sich. In der Lavazza Kaffeebar ist er eher einer unter vielen Backpackern die sich auf dem Platz tummeln. Ein junges Publikum wird sicherlich Freude haben an dem kleinen Studio in der dunklen Seitenstrasse. Wer nicht die grössten Ansprüche an Sauberkeit stellt und Kleintiere in seinem Zimmer bevorzugt, verstopfte Duschwannen liebt und keine architektonischen Ansprüche stellt, sollte auf jeden Fall vorbeischauen. Er freue sich auf eine Aussicht auf Stacheldraht, der den ungeliebten Einsteiger vom Studio fernhalten soll. Wer ein paar Euro mehr ausgeben kann, sollte versuchen, das Studio mit Balkon zu bekommen. Oder gleich eine schönere Alternative finden.

Bon séjour rapport qualité/prix à Istanbul. echanges sympathiques avec l'hôte. Vue extraodinaire sur la ville et ses splendeurs. Quelques petits problèmes d'électricité... Pas de soucis sinon, je reviendrai un jour... Daniel

très bien placé si on ne crains pas de monter et descendre une bonne cote. Le tram pour la mosquée bleue et autres est en bas de la cote. Pas loin non plus les restos du pont de Galata. Dc pour ça, très bien; Par contre petit désagréments: il ns a fallu changer d'étage le dernier soir (parait-il un pb de calendrier avc WIMDU), la personne chargée de "faire la chambre" a en fait monté nos serviettes et nos draps et a embarqué notre bouteille d'eau. Donc le lendemain avant l'aéroport, pas de thé!!!! Enfin, nous avions un RV avec le propriétaire le 2è soir.. il n'est jamais venu et ne s'est pas excusé. Nous l'avons juste rencontré pour nous donner la clé du 2è logement; il a disparu aussi vite en répondant à un appel téléphonique. Drole d'impression. Ceci dit un frigo et le strict minimum pour cuisiner. si vous voulez vous faire à manger prévoyez tous les ingrédients! mais

The view from the apartment is fantastict!!! Yalcin showed us around in the neighborhood and gave some tips. The area is very lively and a perfect base to explore the city.

Yalcin ist ein ganz wunderbarer Gastgeber. Wir sind erst nachts in Istanbul gelandet und konnten uns trotzdem problemlos treffen. Yalcin hat auch gleich noch organisiert, dass wir uns Wasser kaufen können und uns kurz die wichtigsten Geschäfte sowie Wege zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten gezeigt. Das Appartement ist auch super. Es war sauber und ordentlich und die Größe ist für Zwei vollkommen ausreichend. Das Treppensteigen wird durch die traumhafte Aussicht auf den Bosporus und einige Moscheen entschädigt. Die Lage des Appartements ist wirklich ganz fantastisch. Man kann alle bedeutenden Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erreichen und nach einem anstrengenden Tag ganz wunderbar auf dem Balkon entspannen. Wir können das Appartement und Yalcin als Gastgeber uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen!
