Duplex Apartment in Baroque Quarter

This is a very nice apartment in an amazing location that offers the advantages of both the Old and the New town. It is a very short walk to the bridge to Old Town; and to the covered market, the train station, and the main shopping street in New Town. It is on a street Rick Steves recommends to visit, and actually in the same building as one of his recommended restaurants, which was indeed excellent. We picked up the keys easily from the owner's office in the same building, eliminating having to wait around. The apartment was spacious, airy and bright with skylights, very much like the photos, and offered all the necessary appliances and cooking utensils. The only drawback was that the lighting in the kitchen could have been better, but that was a very small issue in the larger picture. We don't believe there was wifi. There was a large binder of instructions but we don't read German, so there could have been, but it wasn't a sufficiently large problem for us to call the owners about. When we left, the owner's office called a taxi for us, which we really appreciated. I would stay here again and recommend the apartment to anyone visiting Dresden.

Sehr schönes, absolut empfhlenswertes Appartment. Die Lage: zentral, ca. 10 min. Fußweg in die Neustadt, ca. 15. min in die Altstadt. Sehr ruhig gelegen, überhaupt keine Gräusche von außen dringen in die Wohnung. Alles was man braucht ist vorhanden, geschmackvolle Einrichtung. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Wir waren 2012 über Silvester in der sehr schönen Stadt Dresden. Die Wohnung war toll eingerichtet, sauber und sehr zentral gelegen. Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin verlief ebenfalls reibungsfrei. Alles was Mann (und Frau) braucht, um einen erholsamen Urlaub zu haben. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hier buchen. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Die hervorragende Lage der Wohnung war Grundlage für eine tolle Woche in und um Dresden. Wegen des super Wetters konnten wir die Wohnung gar nicht so ausgiebig nutzen, haben sie dennoch genossen. Gerne wieder.

We have had a great apartment. And with this we mean this literary. We did have had another apartment because the one we would have rented was not available. Caroline informed us on time and proposed this bigger apartment for the same price. We loved the apartment. Everything was clean and the bed was very good. It is good neighbourhood to explore Dresden. In 5 minutes walking you are in the old town. But if you would like to visit the outer new town, with all the cafe’s, galleries and restaurants, it is just a ten minutes walk.

The flat was absolutely nice and comfortable i've ever stayed by wimdu. All equipments were placed in the kitchen and livingroom. The cover on the bed and towers were also clean. It made me warm sleeping, relaxing, refreshing for next trip. I really want to stay here again if I have a chance to visit here Dresden. I strongly recommend this flat.

Hell, sauber, sehr zentral und gleichzeitig ruhig gelegen. Restaurants und originelle Geschäfte sind ebenso in der Nähe wie Bäcker oder Supermarkt. Die Elbe ist ca. 300-400m entfernt, einmal über die Brücke und schon ist man zu Fuß ganz gemütlich mitten in die Altstadt gekommen. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen!

It is a really lovely, spacious and light apartment over 2 floors in a wonderful quarter of Dresden. Elevator, living room with open kitchen, upstairs an open bedroom, modern equipped and clean over all. While only walking 5-10 min into city center via Augusten-Bridge to all tourist sights you can stay here in the wonderful baroque quarter with many nice, small restaurants and cafes and with less people :-) The host Caroline is very friendly and supported us perfectly.

Wir freuten uns bei unserer Ankunft über die wirklich zentrale Lage und das angenehme Umfeld. Durch den Schall des Kopfsteinpflasters und den Betrieb ders sich im Haus befindlichen Gastronomie war es uns schlecht möglich bei geöffnetem Fenster ruhig zu schlafen . Die Wohnung verfügt über einen idealen Zuschnitt und entspricht der Beschreibung. Allerdings empfanden wir die Einrichtung als sehr einfach und wenig ansprechend haben daher unser Anliegen in der Wohnung auch zu Essen aufgegeben.

Wir waren in einer sehr schönen Wohnung untergebracht.Die zentrale Lage ist perfekt.Die Vermieterin ist sehr zuvorkommend und hat uns bei kleineren Problemen geholfen.Wir kommen gerne wieder.
