THE FOUR POSTER ROOM in a Georgian Town House in the Heart of Edinburgh

All good. Very clean and cosy room as well as adjacent bathroom. Television and DVDs included. Free and speedy Wifi connection. (Lock on door needs to be replaced, though.) Very friendly and caring hosts. Nice breakfast and top room service. Top location in the lively area of East-Edinburgh for a very reasonable price. Highly recommended!

Zentral, stilvoll, freundlicher Empfang und herzliche, unkomplizierte Atmosphäre.

Die Lage war super (wie schon alle vor mir bemerkt haben - in 5-10 min ist man überall!) und das Zimmer schön groß. Das Bad ist auch sehr geräumig und sauber. Küchenbenutzung war allerdings nicht dabei und mit Alan habe ich nichts gesprochen, außer den 3 Sätzen zur Begrüßung. Insofern - gute location, aber halt mehr ein guesthouse als eine private Unterkunft. War auch mein 1. booking mit wimdu...

We had a very good time in this Room, it was clean and is gracious furnished. Alan and his partner are magnificent hoster and there is a cute cat which loves this room and all guests. The location is perfect, just 10 - 15 min. to walk and you can go nearly every in Edinburgh, and there are a lot restaurants and pubs near to the house, so there is nothing to complain about it was a perfect time, i think if i come back to Edinburgh, i will stay again in this room.

The concept of Traveling like a local we loved. Great to stay in someone’s house and have the experience of living in that area for a while. Yes we were out in the city most of the time, and would have loved to have a longer chat with Alan and a drink with him, but our English was not so good that we could easily understand his Scottish accent. I regret that, he seemed a very nice chap, with sense of humor. We were very well cared for, good clean warm beds, great bathroom, towels and fresh milk when needed. We have had a great week in Edinburgh. It has been a great pleasure to stay at a private host, by whom we could get a lot of information about the area, and what was worth to see. We enjoyed the warm atmosphere in their home, and the friendly small talk. Everything lived up to our expectations, and the place was clean and sober. Bei Alan fühlt man sich eigentlich ganz wohl. Die Lage des Hauses ist top! In ca. 10 Gehminuten erreicht man die City. Supermarkt und Restaurants sind quasi um die Ecke. Schönes Zimmer mit Fenster in den "Garten". Das Zimmer und Badezimmer könnten sauberer sein (Katzenhaare überall).

It was a wonderfull stay, the room is so nice, cosy and clean! It was perfect! Also very nearby citycentre, only a 5min walk!

Le séjour fut très agréable et les hôtes très accueillants, nous avons passé de bons moments autour d 'un bon thé. La chambre était grande , propre et le lit confortable .La salle de bain était grande propre et équipée d 'une douche et d 'une baignoire. Vraiment parfait et à dix minutes à pied du centre.
