We enjoyed staying in New York at Thais's Apartment. The room was clean and we got any informations about New York. Thank you for everything.
It was a very nice stay at Cozy Suite. Even though it was small, the room was nice, clean and quite. The place in general is comfortable. There is somewhat of a walk to the subway but that is offset by the fact that the bus around the corner comes every couple of minutes and the subway is express to Manhattan with only 3 stops or so. I would recommend it for someone who does not mind commuting to get to Manhattan.
My boyfriend and I, we stayed nine nights in the apartment.
Greg has welcomed us very friendly and showed us the whole apartment and gave us the kies we needed to get in.
The apartment is very roomy with three bedrooms, one bathroom we had to share with the other roomies and a kitchen. All in all everything was clear and tidy.
We got the room with the largest bed but is was a bit narrow because we traveled with a lot of luggage so we always had to climb over the bed and our suitcases. But there was no problem. We visited New York City for the first time so we left the apartment early in the morning and returned late in the evening/night. We just used it for sleep. We have cooked twice in the kitchen and there is everything you need to. The next supermarket is at the corner of the street directly so you have to go just two minutes. Also the subway station "Utica" is just seven minutes away by foot. We took either the A train or the C train to get into Manhantten by 15-25 driving time.
We assessed that the people are very friendly and welcomed. Every day we met someone who ask us if we need help or just start a small talk. Great city, great apartment, great people!
We really enjoyed our time and we will come back a second and more times!
Thank you very much to make our time pretty nice!

A really great and affordable accommodation for New York. Metro line A man is in a few minutes in Manhattan. The room is a little small, but ranges from repays to spend wonderful days in Brooklyn. The bathroom and kitchen are clean and there were no problems with the other visitors to share the premises. Also about the neighborhood you should not worry, you can walk in peace evening / night home. We were always greeted by all nice and even if you do not know the way, was always one helped. All remain in all a great way to inexpensively in New York.
The place was fine, you get what you pay for. Thais was nice and helpful whenever we needed help with anything.
Me and a friend had the Cozy Suite Citadelle with private bathroom. This is a bit more expensive than the other rooms, but the private bathroom is convenient: I recommend it. A big problem was the fact that we didn't have hot water for three days, so we couldn't properly shower in our apartment or on our floor. Thais offered us to shower in one of the bathrooms on the first floor.
Before booking, we read the comments of other guests and can confirm: from our experience the neighbourhood is mostly black, but the people on the street were always extremely nice, greeting you when you walk by. Not once did we get into trouble. Some of the other guests thought breakfast was included: it is not. But we also knew that before coming.
One final negative note: we experienced problems on the last day of our stay. Our plane was leaving at 10 PM in the evening, so we repeatedly told Thais we would like to leave the place at 7 PM. We also paid for the possibility to leave our luggage protected in the apartment. But in the morning we were told that we had to get out and so had to take our luggage, which kind of ruined our last day.
All in all, the place was OK and Thais is nice.
Nice and clean place.
