Elegant Room in Venice by San Marco

Ferienzimmer befindet sich in einem alten Palazo,etwas morbide,aber mit viel Charme. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und bemüht.Es hätte etwas besser vorbereitet und aufgeräumt sein können. Der Herd im vorhandenen Kochschrank hat nicht zum Kochen getaugt, dafür gab es einen geräumigen Kühlschrank. Die Strasse, abseits vom lauten Touristenstrom sehr bürgerlich, venezianisch mit sehr guten Restaurants und netten Cafes. Fußläufig zum Bahnhof und Busbahnhof. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dort um Unterkunft fragen.

Die Lage ist sehr gut, um Venedig zu erkunden. Ruhig und zentral gelegen, nur wenige Schritte zu Vaporetto-Station. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Der Eingangsbereich der Hauses, das Treppenhaus wirkt sehr sanierungsbedürftig. Der Eingang zur Wohnung befindet sich im 1. Stock. Beim Betreten gelangt man in den Aufenthaltsraum der Vermieter. Ein riesiges Chaos und Durcheinander, kaum beschreibbar. Unser großes und geräumiges Zimmer entspricht den Wimdu-Bildern. Allerdings verschandeln riesige weiße Wandschränke den an sich schönen Raum. Die kleine Schrankküche nutzten wir praktisch nicht. Das Bad ohne Fenster mit einem riesigen Spiegel ist nicht zu groß aber geschmackvoll und zweckmäßig ausgestattet. Zum Frühstück wird morgens zur verabredeten Zeit vor der Tür ein Teewagen abgestellt. Obst, hartgekochte Eier, Toastbrot, abgepackte Marmelade und Butter, Joghurt. Geschmacklich und atmosphärisch am kleinen "Küchentisch" kein wahrer Genuss.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour à Venise dans cet appartement qui correspond bien au descriptif. Belle chambre très spacieuse et bien décorée. Literie très confortable, coin cuisine petit mais largement suffisant, salle de bains propre. Le quartier est pittoresque, calme et à proximité de tout. Eleonora nous a très bien reçu, elle parle un peu français et est de bon conseil.

Die Wohnung bei Elenora war sehr schön eingerichtet und sehr ordentlich. Wir bekamen jeden morgen einen kleinen Wagen mit Frühstück in unser Zimmer. Die Gastgeber sind sehr herzlich und freundlich, nur leider können wir bestätigen das sie weder englisch noch deutsch sprechen, sie sind jedoch sehr bemüht sich dann mit Händen und Füßen zu verständigen. Einziges eher größeres Manko war, das an keiner Klingel Elenora steht und wir leider nicht wussten wo wir klingeln mussten. Haben dann mit dem Handy angerufen.

The room is just nice, big enough and with a beautiful ceiling. But a bit dusty. In the room is also stuff of the owners. The bathroom is clean, it is a pity the hot water takes a long time to flow. The owners are an older pair and they try to comfort you.

logement très agreable,calme et très beau quartier de venise et vraiment pratique pour venir de l'aeroport.

Abbiamo soggiornato nel periodo di capodanno in una delle stanze offerte da Eleonora e devo dire che siamo rimasti totalmente soddisfatti! La posizione è ottima, 10 minuti a piedi dalla stazione di Santa Lucia. A pochi passi da una fermata del vaporetto, è possibile anche raggiungere piazza San Marco con una camminata di mezz'oretta..La stanza era a dir poco favolosa, rispecchiava perfettamente le foto proposte sul sito. Per non parlare dell'ospitalità: nessun problema, anzi, sono stati molto disponibili e premurosi!! Sicuramente torneremo....

Exactly what we were looking for - a romantic and authentic but affordable appartment right in the middle of de old Venice department Cannaregio, overviewing de Cannaregio canal. During the "aqua alta" we had to strol with our boots through the dwelled hall to te staircases, but everything kept functioning. The owners are very gentle and we have nothing to complain. Of course the kitchen is very small en not fit to cook big meals, more for making a perfect handmade espresso Italian style, but in the not so well known Cannaregio department there are a lot of affordable restaurants which also the locals visit. Nearby the appartment are at least two bakerys, one of them kosher (it's just around the corner of de old ghetto).

Very big room with independent bathroom and kitchen, old furniture, just on the border of canal. Murano chandelier 2 m high above your table. Relaxing atmospher. The mistress of the house speeks only italian and a little french. It was a nice and interesting stay

Very nice flat with the charms of an old palazzo, with a fantastic painting at the ceiling and 400year old furniture. It is close enough to the tourist places and far enough from them to get the real Venice - in the Canareggio-Sestiere! Signora Eleonara and her husband are very good hosts!
