Loft Apartment near the Artis Zoo

appartement parfait pour nous 5. Très bien situé, dans un quartier sympa.

Die Unterkunft war sehr einfach, roch stark nach Rauch und war nur oberflächig sauber. Es hangen lose Kabel aus der Wand, das Lattenrost des Bettes war kaputt und wurde mit Holzstücken wieder befestigt. Die Schlafcoauch war sehr verschmutzt. Im Bad und in der Wohnung kein einziger Haken zum aufhängen oder ablegen der Sachen, auch den Duschkopf konnte man nirgends einhängen. Die Fenster waren sehr schmutzig, seit sehr langer Zeit nicht mehr gereinigt. Im Bad und Küche floß das Wasser nur schlecht ab. Die Wohnung ist gut und zentral gelegen, das ist aber das Einzigst Gute. Wer hier wohnt, muss zum Thema Sauberkeit sehr schmerzfrei sein. Keine Wohnung zum wohl fühlen. Gern können wir auch Bilder dazu zur Verfügung stellen.

Le logement a été aménagé dans d'anciens entrepôts, comme tous ceux de cette rue, mais ne correspond pas à un loft : une seule très grande pièce avec un espace cuisine et salle de bains qui matérialise une séparation sur la moitié de la largeur de cette pièce. Le logement semble avoir été loué à des personnes négligentes et manque d'entretien : - pas de rideaux ni tentures aux fenêtres pour masquer la lumière du jour, - électricité à revoir : fils électriques isolés au scotch, des prises de tables de nuit ne fonctionnent plus, une ampoule sur deux au plafond ne s'allume pas, l'éclairage est assuré par des lampes que l'on branche sur des prises multiples, - les siphons d'évacuation des eaux usées de la cuisine et de la baignoire auraient besoin d'être nettoyés. Le logement est bien nettoyé mais un vieux canapé sent le tabac froid. Feryad est très sympathique mais gère plusieurs locations et nous n'avons pas pu lui faire part de nos remarques à notre départ. Nous avons trouvé la location chère pour son état.

Really nice apartment, basic and clean. kitchen had all the essentials and view from back windows was fairly nice. host was polite and on time to meet for keys. nice area of Amsterdam and not too far to walk in to town if you don't mind a 10 or 15 minute walk each morning. good access to Dam square and generally a nice neighborhood. Shower head didnt mount on the wall which was a bit annoying but good all round!

When you like to be stoned or drunk all day and you don not care for privacy (curtans) or a couch where you can sit on more dan 15 minutes, or a smell of weat it is a great place to be. When you like to camp it does not matter that there is hardly any kitchengear. You will survive anyhow! You wake up (good beds) in the centre of Amsterdam and you don t hear any noise, only an odd tropical bird in Artis, the nearby zoo. And that is the good part.

We really enjoyed our stay. our host Feryad was friendly, helpful and flexible towards our needs (slight delay in our time of arrival but plans easily changed) our electric went out in the apartment on our first morning which dampened our spirits slightly as some of us couldn't shower before going out. Feryad had the problem solved by the time we arrived back home in the evening. the apartment could sleep more than 3 people if needs be and we found it a very comfortable stay. there isn't much equipment in the kitchen to cook food etc but suited us ok as we mainly just bought food when out and about. towels are provided. shower head attachment was broken so made showering a little annoying as u had to hold it over ur head whilst washing. cant really fault it though as we really enjoyed ourselves......the holiday is what you make it despite the bits that go wrong :) 7/10

We enjoyed the apartment as it was in a great location and was comfortable for five people. I would like to add though that the kitchen is only sparsly equipped. Only 4 plates, 4 forks etc. and only small pots and pans. Cooking for a larger group is not really possible. Other then that, the place is great.

Also Preis-Leistungs Verhältniss, war wirklich in Ordnung. Nur das Badezimmer lässt ein bißche zu wünschen über. Ein bißchen kühl war es in der Wohnung, obwohl wir immer die Heinzung an hatten. Tolles Loft, und für den Preis wirklich gut. Relativ gute Lage , man braucht nur 15 bis 20 min ins Zentrum.

The appartment was situated in a calm neighbourhood, 10 minutes from the center by tram. We spent two nights there and had a really nice time, everything was clean and the appartment was very spacious.
