The neighborhood is very romantic, with lots to do and experience. There are fantastic restaurants and bars where you can taste the delicious Portuguese cuisine or simply drink a glass of wine on a terrace while enjoying the view over Alfama (a typical neighborhood) and the river.
For those who prefer to adventure on the kitchen, the apartment is right in front of a supermarket, where you can buy whatever you need until 20.30.
If you like to experience the nightlife of a city can not miss the Bairro Alto (15min walk), you will find small streets, many restaurants and bars and many many locals.
If you want to leave the center of Lisbon or go to the surrounding areas, you are 5 minutes walk from Rossio which has all kinds of transportation to pretty much everywhere including the beaches surrounding Lisbon and of course Sintra - a UNESCO heritage of the World, just outside Lisbon.
The subway and the airport bus stops very close to the apartment.
