The apartment is located in the Esquiline quarter, near the Termini train station. The neighborhood of Esquilino is modest but very populated. It has many churches, but its main attractions are the Domus Area, the imperial palace of Nero, and the Basilica of San Giovanni in Laterano. Apart from this monuments in the district of the Esquiline is worth to visit to the Mercato Esquilino, an indoor market of ancient provenance that recently moved from its longtime outdoor home all the way round the outside of Piazza Vittorio.
