Private Room in Manhattan

Francis & Miguel sind sehr symphatisch und aufgeschlossen. Die Wohnung ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sauber. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt :-) Francis gab uns bereits auf der Fahrt vom Flughafen nach Harlem praktische Tipps. Wir waren froh, dass wir nicht mitten in Manhatten gewohnt haben sondern oberhalb vom Central Park, sodass wir mit offenem Fenster schlafen konnten :-D Dennoch braucht man bis Manhatten nur eine halbe Stunde mit der Subway. Ungewöhnlich war der Zugang zu unserem Zimmer über die Wohnräume der Vermieter. Wir sind uns sicher, dass wir nicht das letzte Mal in New York waren ;-)

Francis and Miguel provided us a hospitable, flexible and comfortable "base station" for our one-week visit of Manhattan. With the subway station just around the corner it took us only about half to 3/4 of an hour to down-town Manhattan. We've enjoyed it very much.

Wenn man in New York eine angenehme und entspannte Unterkunft sucht, ist man bei Francis und Miguel an der richtigen Adresse. Alles ist sauber und gemütlich und wir haben uns in dieser gastfreundlichen Umgebung sehr wohl gefühlt.

Es war eine super Zeit! Es gibt wirklich nichts zu meckern. Das Zimmer ist super und auch das Badezimmer hat man für sich alleine und es ist alles sehr sauber. Francis und Miguel sind super liebe Gastgeber, haben uns sogar vom Flughafen abegholt und in die Metro eingewiesen und alle Insider Tipps von NYC eingeweiht! Man hat sowohl direkt Anschluss an die Metro, als auch an die Busse (und nach ein bis zwei Tagen hat man auch das System ganz schnell verstanden). Wir haben uns noch nie so sicher in einer Stadt gefühlt, wie in NY! Auch in Harlem kann man beruhigt Abends durch die Straße schlendern. Wir würden jeder Zeit wieder bei den beiden übernachten und auch jedem weiterempfehlen dort seinen Urlaub zu verbringen!

first i want to say, that i used to wanted to write something different to all the other nice assesments. but what should i write? yes it is a very, very nice place to stay, and yes it is very clean and very save too. You`ve got a really nice room with tv, wifi and a nice bathroom with everything you need. They have the biggest fridge i have ever seen, great coffee and orangejuice. they gave us great informations about how to get from here to there and lot more about the city you have to know! It`s 100% true!!! Trust me and all the others who only wrote good assesments. It is a very cool neighborhood with everything we needed only a few streets away. the 125th street is a good place to find jeans, hats, boots and shoes with good restaurants and famous bars and museums. the 119th street is the new in-part of Harlem with lots of nice cafe`s, restaurants and bars. so you can visit a lot of nice places in harlem too, the rest of new york is also absolutely incredable!!!! But i think the most important thing is the personal feeling that we had when we meet Francis, Miguel and their dog oscar for the first time. when we had planed our trip to new york at wimdu a few weeks before, we were a little excited about expecting living at a strangers appartment in a strange city but as we arrived all that thinking was blowin away. We had a really great holiday in Harlem and the rest of New York and we loved the whole neighborhood, like we told you every day;-) I think this was one of our trips that we will never forget. And i mean that honestly in a positive way!!!! We stayed at his appatment at the time when the hurricane sandy had rushed trough the city and damaged a lot of places we had visited a day before. We had never have seen anithing like a hurricane in germany yet, so we didnt`t know whats going on up when it hits the city. every tv-show was talking about sandy and as the major was seen in the news we know that is is a critical situation..We will never forget our special-sandy-night-dinner and how relaxed you guys are the whole time. you gave us a very good and welcome feeling and we felt so comfort all the time. We will really looking to get a stay next time at Francis and Miguel`s Appartment again. Thank you for everything. hope to see you guys back soon. Viele Grüße aus Deutschland

Dejligt værelse med eget bad. Ligger godt placeret i NY, meget tæt på toget. Det tager 15 minutter at komme til Times Square. Værterne er venlige og hjælpsomme, de tilbød at komme at hente os i lufthavnen. Kommer jeg til NY igen vil jeg gerne bo samme sted igen. Det er bedre og meget billigere end hotel.

Unser Aufenthalt bei Francis war sehr angenehm. Zimmer relativ klein, zum schlafen aber o.k.,dazu ein großes Bad. Francis ist ein hilfsbereiter Gastgeber.

We had such a great time in New York and Francis and Miguel's apartment made it so much better for us. The apartment is very clean and had everything we needed there. Francis and Miguel are very accommodating and were so helpful with their knowledge of the city, subway, places to eat etc. We would definitely recommend staying here. Thanks guys!

Our stay with Francis was just great. He's a very friendly and helping host, providing us all the necessary information, but also helping us out with transport from the airport and to the railway station. Also the room and bathroom were very clean. Staying with himis highly recomendable!

Our stay with Francis and Miguel was excellent!! We would definitely stay with them again. The room and the bathroom were neat and clean. Their building is very secure with very nice doormen and is very close to the subway. So very convenient. It was our first time to New York and they made our vacation the best it could have been.
