Cosy room with FREE BIKE, only 12 train minutes from Amsterdam Central Station

Bei Anna zu übernachten kann ich nur jeden empfehlen! Das Zimmer ist zwar klein, aber sonst hat man alles, was man braucht. Und zudem ist Anna eine sehr nette und kommunikative Person, eine perfekte Gastgeberin :). Auch wenn das Haus ein bisschen abseits der Stadt ist, mit dem Fahrrad, welches man von Anna bekommt, ist man schnell in Zaandam und mit dem Zug auch schnell in Amsterdam. Alles sehr gut zu erreichen. Zaandam an sich ist auch einen Besuch wert.

Der Vorteil der Unterkunft bei Anna liegt in der Lage des Hauses direkt am Hafen. Allerdings ist es vom Bahnhof durch einen 20 min-Fußmarsch entfernt gelegen. Es gibt zwar einen Bus,aber der Fährt nur 1x pro Stunde. Das Zimmer bei Anna ist klein, aber das Wichtigste ist vorhanden. Die Unterkunft ist gut geeignet für anspruchslose Reisende,die sehr preisgünstig unterkommen wollen und auch kein Problem haben mit dem/r Vermieter/In mitzuwohnen. Ich habe Anna kommunikativ und hilfsbereit erlebt und war froh, sehr kurzfristig für 2 Nächte bei Ihr unterzukommen.

The three weeks in Zandaam were great and I appreciate it! Anna was really nice and openminded. We had many good conversations. Her house was always clean, tidy and really comfortable. The bedroom was small but for me as a visitor just perfect to stay. And the bed was absolutely comfortable, I miss it!!! The little garden was cute with all the flowers and a good opportunity to relax, enjoy the sun or have a meal outside. I really recommend Anna's place!

Super, wer schöne Tage in unmittelbarer Nähe von Amsterdam verbringen möchte ist hier genau richtig. Ein kleines aber sehr feines ruhiges Zimmer mit einem guten Bett und einer sehr netten Gastgeberin erwartet Dich. Das Bike ist cool und Gold wert um in den Ort zu fahren. Der Bahnhof ist zu Fuß oder einem Shuttlebus sehr gut erreichbar. Ich hatte drei sehr schöne Tage und zwei erholsame nächte bei Anna....!!!

Convenient to Amsterdam and therefore to all of Holland by train so a good location to operate from. Zandam is not bad either, quiet little town, but some good restaurants which liven up at night. Anna and Abraham are very quiet but are a welcoming couple. If you want some peace from the riot of Amsterdam, a good option. Like Anna says, 12 minutes from Zandam to Central Station in Amsterdam.

If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle in Amsterdam each evening, really live and “travel like a local” (Wimdu’s slogan) and stay in a nice clean, quiet room in a nice house with a nice, friendly, caring, professional and helpful host, look no further as this is the best place to stay by far and it is very good value! The best part of my 4-day trip in May 2012 was cycling around the Zaandam area and to/from the Zaandam railway station on the traditional Dutch bike. I also stocked up with food for breakfast and lunch each day at the “goody foods” heath food shop in the town centre of Zaandam on the way to the railway station as the food is great and the staff are very helpful and friendly. I will return here for sure for all my future trips to Amsterdam (if the room is not fully booked all year!). Thanks for a great stay.

This was such a lovely place to be for the week! The house was beautiful, and the hosts were so open and welcoming, the bike was definitly a plus given its only a 5min ride to Zaandam Station or about 20min ride into Amsterdam. Overall a great stay!

Very good location, very nice and helpful home owners make this place good for stay. Good connection to Amsterdam Centre by train and bus - it is what I love in The Netherlands. Room is suitable for one person. I recommend for singles.
