books, city maps, hifi speakers, wash machine, shower, spacious kitchen counter and all necessary appliances. The window fills up the whole studio and is beautifully warm and sunny in the morning. Please note the toilets are located outside the studio and are communal however you will receive a key to enter and also they are cleaned on regular basis.
I have been hosting many travelers and am always happy to welcome you and help out so you will have a comfortable stay.
As to the apartments fantastic location, its 4 min. basically two stops to Tower Bridge by DLR, 5 min to Bank station from where you can reach any part of London.
20 min to Regents Canal, Victoria park, Brick Lane, Liverpool Street and Tower Bridge. The river Thames is only one street away and you can have beautiful walks into city center or check out the giant canary wharf building towers. Please note that there is many Barclays bike rental stations around which make a tour through the city much more enjoyable.

Nur was für junge Leute. Man sollte nicht geräuschempfindlichsein . Musikkneipe direkt unterhalb. Gute Musik aber laut und das Fenster lässt sich nicht schließen
The apartment isn't luxury but offers everything you'll need for a few days stay in London. It was clean, cosy and everything in it was working as it was supposed to.
However it can be a little loud in the evening especially on the weekend, as you are surrounded by young people, mainly musicians.
Still the apartment was a great base to start from and return to every day because of it's cosiness and great location close to smaller supermarkets, restaurants/take aways and an DLR/train/bus station.
A second key would be helpful but it wasn't really a problem to have only one.
The room was nice, clean and matched my expectations from the pictures!
Unfortunately Inge was not there which I think affected my stay. The downside was the lack of organization, the welcoming was very awkward and they didn't know the wifi password, it just felt very messy. Overall the collective was very very dirty and a bit creepy. No probs if the people are welcoming but that was not the case.
I think this place is perfect for some though, I mostly had bad timing.
We had a short stay at the Cable Street Studios. A lively and nice place. The room was quite convenient - an all-in-one solution with shower, bed and little kitchen. Inga was also very nice and helped us where she could. We only had to wait a bit for check-in and the key to enter the studios. So, if you are a flexible person and like listening to music until midnight as we did this place ist for you!
We had a great time. Myself and my pregnant wife stayed for a couple of days and Inga was a super nice host. It was no problem that we came late, the host waited and received us warm, giving great advise on the surrounding area and sight seeing. What was brilliant is the location very close to city centre, 3 minutes walk to DLR and right beside the river thames with great river paths walks! Amazing price for city of London as we couldn't find any cheaper offer. The studio has a great charm, its old factory building so the windows are victorian so even if they do close they just doesn't lock.
Everything else was perfect, the studio is charming and we loved the outside atmosphere of the house.
We would love to return!
The apartment has a special charm and the stay was quite pleasant for a night .. From the courtyard, the music penetrates from the nebstgelegenen Jazz Club in the apartment, which I not found disturbing. The toilets are located on the floor above, which is a bit annoying and the state was not so great (no toilet paper, not clean).
Unfortunately, I had then even the bad luck that the keys did not work out. It took one and a half hours until someone else let me in, which was a bit irritating. Subsequently, I received also a key from the caretaker, who had probably overlooked an envelope at the reception, with the job myself let in .... All in all, not a problem, except that I thought at times, I had to but elsewhere quartered if none opens the door ;-)
The appartement is not for 3 people. It is in an old factory building. It is small and not clean. A lot of flies in the room. However we had a pleasant stay in the evening with a lot of young people who were making music, dancing and chilling.
We have not had the opportunity to see Inga, we were greeted by his friend. The apartment is well appointed, by against internet was not working ... The residence may seem gloomy but we were treated to an evening jazz concert. A window does not close, the sink is hard to operate but for the rest there is nothing wrong. For the price it's a bargain!
a very special place. during night time much noise and funny people everywhere. but anyhow we enjoyed the place. as long as you can deal with that and you are don't expect any kind of luxery and you are looking for a cheap place in a vital area of east London we recommand that place, better for young people, not that good for familys. Inga is very helpful, speaks fluently German and give you some good advice. we came by car from Dover, that s easy. one can find a parking space nearby in the carwashing area, we payed 5 Pound a day. by bus Nr 15 to town in 20 min.
