House rules

What is the maximum number of people allowed?
The number of people allowed is two adults in double room, two adults or two children on twin beds in the twin rooms, two adults or two children on the sofa bed in the living room and a baby in the eventual travel cot that we can provide free of charge, to put in the master bedroom.

Is it possible to add one more bed?
No, you cannot add any more beds.

What is the opening period?
All year round.

If I have special needs, can we talk about it?
Certainly, we are always willing to accommodate, as far as possible, all requests.

What time can I take possession of the apartment?
The holiday house lucca viacarrara16 is delivered on the day of arrival from 15:00 until 20:00.
Any arrivals after that time must be communicated to avoid the risk of arriving and not find anyone for the delivery of the house.

Can I arrive before the scheduled time and take possession of it?
If you arrive before the scheduled delivery of the apartment, we can make all the practices of check-in but do not guarantee the immediate availability of the apartment.

What do I do while I wait to take possession of the apartment?
We suggest that you might arrange to go for a walk in the historical center of Lucca.
Remember that if the apartment is handed to you right away is because it is not yet available, not because we don’t want to deliver it.

What time should I leave the apartment the day of departure?
The day of departure the keys must be returned no later than 10:00 am in the morning.
In case of departure before the opening time, we can arrange a different return of the keys.

My train / my plane leaves late at night, can I keep the apartment until evening?
No, it is not possible for organizational reasons.

Before my arrival was the apartment cleaned?
Yes, the apartment is delivered clean.

The day of departure do I have to clean the apartment? And during the week?
On the departure day the apartment must be left in good conditions and you must provide an accurate cleaning of the kitchen. This means that there must be no food and dirty dishes, pots and pans encrusted, and if you use the oven, that too must be cleaned. Otherwise you will be charged from the list provided. Do not leave anything in the fridge, and make sure that is clean. Finally, please leave the plug attached to the current. It is strictly forbidden to leave the waste in the apartments. The latter should be discarded in special containers in the vicinity of the sites in pre-established times and respecting the timetable set by the Town Council. If you require weekly cleaning you can ask for it.

If I have a problem in the apartment who should I contact?
The reception and all our staff is at your disposal for any request, information or problem that can occur at the interior of the apartment. When you arrive at the apartment you will find an informative book with lots of useful informations and all our telephone numbers.

Is the bedding is provided?
Yes, otherwise if you prefer you can take your home.

Are the towels provided?
Yes, the towels are a set that includes a towel and a shower. Or if you prefer you can take your home. Any damage and / or deterioration will be charged.

Is the table linen provided?
It is provided the table linen and tablecloths, napkins, tea towels, potholders, etc. ...

The kitchenette is equipped with everything needed to cook?
Yes, in the kitchenette there is everything you need for cooking: pots, pans, plates, cups, glasses, cutlery, etc ..., they are all in adequate amounts to the maximum number of persons who may occupy the house. If you wish, you can conveniently order online by clicking here to the supermarket “Esselunga” which can deliver at home directly.

Does the lease include the consumption of electricity?
Yes

Does the lease include water consumption?
Yes

Does the lease include house cleaning?
No, it is expected to pay 30 euros for final cleaning.

Is there a TV?
Yes, a nice flat screen TV of 40 inches.

Is there a washing machine?
Yes.

Is there a dryer?
Yes, the washing machine is also dryer machine.

Does the cellular telephone work?
Ideally, all telephone networks.

Do you do currency exchange?
No, but in Piazza San Michele, about 300 meters away there are many banks that perform it.

What methods of payment of the balance on arrival?
Payment can be made by Cash, checks and credit cards and through paypal.

Is the breakfast included?
No, the formula “holiday house” does not provide a breakfast service. In the apartment you will find all you needed to prepare breakfast and 1 bottle of water and 1 of coca cola, salt, oil, vinegar, coffee, sugar, 1 carton of milk, biscuits, rusks, Nutella and jam. And if you want downstairs there's the Element Bistrot http://www.lelemento.it/ who will be glad to welcome you with breakfasts, lunches and dinners!

Do the property has a shared environment with the owner?
No, the holiday house has an independent access and guests can stay in complete autonomy.

In case of problems inside the building who do I have to contact?
We are always available via phone or email.

Can I bring pets?
Unfortunately, by regulation, no pets are allowed.

What are the best times to come to Lucca?
Lucca is always beautiful, consult the calendar of events (in Italian) to see what awaits you in the city.
