For those who wish to partake of the vibrant Athenian nightlife, be sure to pay a visit to the trendy, popular area of Gazi, where you can find lots of local bars, clubs pubs etc., all of which are within about 15 minutes walking distance from your apartment.
Another popular area of Athens that offers exciting nightlife is Monastiraki, which is only 10 minutes away from your apartment, and just five minutes walking distance to the nearest underground station - Metaksourgio. By choosing to stay at this superb house you will be just one metro stop distance from the main railway station in Athens, making both your arrival and departure fast and convenient. As well, there is a bus stop close by that will enable you to travel directly to the Intercity Bus Station of Kifissos; your travel time, once again, is circa 15 minutes.
If you are a history enthusiast, you can visit the Acropolis and the new Acropolis museum by traveling only four metro stops from the Metaxourgeio station. The New Municipal Gallery of Athens is 200 metres downstreet.

The description of first floor appartment.: Near the bedrooms there are book shelves with select titles in English and Greek for your reading pleasure. The living room, which is one of the most spacious rooms of the apartment, displays a unique style of decoration that you will find no where else, with beautiful textured walls constructed from stone by local craftsmen. Your apartment is fully furnished with all of the standard modern appliances and includes a TV and a stereo system. Some guests have said the overall appearance suggests a vintage or retro look.
"Walking into this apartment the first thing youâll notice is the stone wall in room straight ahead. And even though, out the corner of your eye, you catch the natural light streaming in through a stained glass window to the right, you canât help but want to explore the room with the stone wall.
From the doorway you can feel the understated power of this room. An air of sophistication, wisdom and - if it werenât for the modern day sounds of cars and scooters drifting in through the window- youâd think you were in a 1950âs study.
Antique furniture scatters the room, and each beautiful stone wall is accentuated with thematic art- Egyptian papyrus, Grecian plates, and Victorian frames. You could spend forever and a day taking in the tiny details that make this room so interesting. From the vintage wooden treasure chest to the stacked encyclopedias and trinkets lining the dark wood cabinets, which strategically placed, add to the roomâs charm.
If, at some point, youâre finally able to tear yourself away from this enchanting room, perhaps youâll be able to appreciate the way in which the rest of the apartment gracefully allows the Stone Room to bask in its opulence.
Simple, but by no means boring, the walls of the quaint entrance hall are lined with paintings and drawings, which seem to be arranged almost categorically, creating a unique oceanic theme. Classic paintings of ships, boats and pebble decorated picture frames work well to highlight the impressive shell displays. Again, little trinkets dotted around do well to complete the relaxed atmosphere.
Although the two bedrooms are uncluttered they are cozy and full of personality. As with the rest of the apartment, artwork hangs strikingly on the walls, with knick-knacks placed among some vintage chairs or tables to add to the character. And, with the sounds of the world bustling by, one can easily slip into the dream world that this apartment so obviously represents."
