Room view of Empire State Building (Room 1/Empire State Building Views)

After first problems with another hostflat by the booking we were quite happy that Wimdu helped us to clear the situation. Thanks a lot by the way! Wer enjoyed staying at that clean flat in Harlem. All the others I happend to talk to who also were staying at that time were also enjoying it. We had a great time visiting NY and Cindy has been also very helpful with finding nice restaurants and also shops when we asked her about it. I am sure we will come back one day! Thanks. It was just a wonderful stay at Cindy's home. Clean, nice room, beautiful view, near public transport. I will definitively come back next year!

Our hostess switched us to a 1-bedroom-apartment quite near to Frederick Douglass Blvd. and Central Park, subway/bus stations as well as restaurants and shops. So we were on our own which we welcomed very much after long days and evenings walking and looking around. It is a quiet, nice and clean apartment. Maybe the bedroom becomes too warm if temperature rises (no air-co there, but in the kitchen/living room). However, we missed some basic furniture (small table, 2 chairs). Nevertheless we had a great time in NYC and enjoyed our stay very much. We hardly get to know Cindy, mostly communicated via e-mail. She was always very quick and reliable in her communication. Also the super and his wife were very kind and helpful.

Cindy is such a nice and caring person and host. She really is helping you out with anything if needed. The apartment is also nice and arranged with lots of love. I'll take an apartment from her anytime.

Das Zimmer war super mit hammer Ausblick einfach nur zu empfehlen. Die Gastgeberin war sehr nett und aufgeschlossen :) ich kann sie jedem weiter empfehlen. Sehr lohnenswert.

Location is nearby Metro-station, shops and restaurants. It takes only 20 minutes to downtown Manhattan. The rooms (3 rooms) of the appartement are nice, but during my stay we were 5 persons there and that is pretty too much for this appartement. The bathroom and toilet are in one room and in the morning it is very busy in the bathroom. Cindy is a little bit chaotic person and not very flexible concerning check out times or leaving your luggage for a few hours more. Kitchen and equipment is o.k.. All things considered it was o.k. but improvable.

fun area. good chinese take away near by. close to subway. up many levels, so work for the legs with luggage - but i enjoyed my stay. Wifi was pretty good - I could Skype pretty well. We had some issues with the heating - but they got the handyman/landlord in to bleed them so that was better. My advice is to not deal with Cindy off of the website for your security.

Ich und meine beste Freundin waren vom 20 September bis zum 4. Oktober in NYC. (Sie 27 und ich 25) Es war einfach so mega schön! Der erste Eindruck von der Wohnung war nicht so berauschend, denn man musste durch einige Türen die einen piependen Ton dabei gemacht haben... und hinauf in den 3 Stock.Da kein Aufzug vorhanden war, war es schon anstrengend den Koffer hoch zu schleppen! Cindy hat uns dann die Tür aufgemacht, uns kurz Informiert, was wir beachten müssen etc. in der Wohnung selber waren wir erstmal alleine, später kamen noch ein älteres Paar dazu und dann ein älterer Schriftsteller aus Canada. Die Küche hatte alles, was man braucht. Man muss sich halt wegen dem Bad absprechen. Die Gegend war super cool, und schon nach kurzer Zeit haben wir uns super wohl gefühlt und waren auch in Harlem aus. Die Ubahn Station sowie ein kleiner Supermarkt sind direkt um die Ecke! Für den Preis ist die Wohnung schön und ich würde auch wieder hin fahren! New York war einfach der WAHNSINN! <3 it!!!

I had a great time in NYC- I stayed for 4 weeks, and having the apartment to come back to every night really made it feel like real life living, much better than having a hotel. The apartment was conviently located right near a subway station which was great. Kitchen, loungeroom and bathroom were all super, perfect size. Although I never met Cindy, we had contact over the phone and she was helpful and offered assistance. A bonus was the comfort of having her ‘assistant’ living in the building. This meant that should anything have gone wrong, I could contact her for immediate help, which as I said above, was a comfort. I had the best time, wouldn’t go back to doing hotels now that ive had this experience.

Cindy was a great host ! I'm arrived very later and she has wait me ! She is welcoming and her appartment is really confortable ! I have no hesitation for recommend ! I spent a really good trip with she ! :D
