This is a spectacular first floor apartment in a stunning location only recently fully refurbished throughout to a very high standard. With a full width private south-facing balcony there is a really special view over Westbourne Terrace. The balcony provides ample room for the table and seating for 4 people - Ideal for al-fresco dining or just a lovely way to sip the morning coffee whilst soaking up the sounds of the city.
Entrance is via the grand pillared entrance - The locked front door leads into the clean and carpeted stairway up to the apartment. Another locked door leads into the hallway with doors through to bedroom 1 (with ensuite), bedroom 2, family shower room and Lounge/Kitchen. The apartment has that classical look of a building dating from 1840 with 3.5 metre / 11 ft 6 inch high ceilings and wooden floors throughout. Additionally there is a mezzanine area above the kitchen which is the 3rd bedroom.
The clean decor with chrome fittings, luxury wooden flooring and beautiful decorative and designer touches like the stainless steel architectural staircase complete this lovingly warm and modern interior.
The apartment can comfortably sleep 5 adults in beds with a maximum of 6 by utilising the pull-out sofa bed. There is also a travel cot which can be used in any of the rooms (linen for the cot can be provided on request).

You really don’t get much better in terms of location for a short stay in London, getting from the airport to the apartment and for getting around during your stay in London. The apartment sits in the middle of the grand, tree lined Westbourne Terrace which is literally a stones throw from Hyde Park and London Paddington Train and Underground tube station. Paddington Station is less than 5 minutes walk from the house and is a fantastic hub station with entry to the Bakerloo, Circle, District and Hammersmith & City lines. The Heathrow express train also runs trains every 15 minutes to and from Heathrow Airport and takes just 15 minutes! And the Central Line (underground) is also easily accessible from Lancaster Gate Tube station which is adjacent to Hyde Park just 6 minutes walk from the apartment.
Alongside Lancaster Gate station the following bus services also run in just about every direction imaginable - London bus routes 7, 23, 27, 36, 46, 205, 332, 436 and Night route N7. - We also provide a good stock of basics such as salt, pepper, oils and spices to help out.
Bedroom 1: Double bed in bedroom with bay window view to the rear of the building over Chilworth Mews. Blackout curtains. Door to ensuite Bathroom 1 with Bath and Thermostatic Shower (not fixed), WC, Basin and Heated Towel Rail.
Bedroom 2: Single Bedroom with four concertina doors which can be folded back to create an expanded lounge. Stored here is a folding dining table and four chairs. The bedroom also opens onto the balcony via a pair of French Doors.
Bathroom 2: Shower Room with Glass Shower Enclosure, Thermostatic Shower, WC, Basin & Heated Towel Rail. Door to hallway.
Lounge: A beautiful light and open room with double sofa and two easy chairs, coffee table, TV. With doors to hallway, four concertina doors to bedroom 2, French doors to full width south-facing balcony and staircase to Mezzanine Floor.
Mezzanine Floor Bedroom above Kitchen (reduced ceiling height) – Double Bed with second 40 inch TV and large storage cupboard. Provides a light and cosy space above the Lounge.
Kitchen: below the mezzanine floor and in the corner of the Lounge is a full modern kitchen with granite worktop and all facilities.
Entry Hallway: Entry Phone to front door, Doors to Bedroom 1, Both Bathrooms and Kitchen/Lounge. Also has a full height storage Cupboard for coats & shoes etc

Me and my friends had a lovely stay in flat c. The appartement was sentral and clean. We felt safe. The balkony was fantastic,and if it had had enough chairs for all five, it would have been even better. The host was very eager to help with our questions. We will come back
We enjoyed our stay in this nice and well equipped apartment. The only issue was we only received one set of keys for the apartment and therefore detailed planning was required when we spilt up in groups.
Wunderschöne Wohnung sehr nahe von Paddington. Sie ist praktisch eingerichtet und komfortabel. Guten Restaurants in nächster Umgebung.
Wir sind bereits um 14 Uhr angekommen und Wohnung war noch nicht bereit. Vermieter und Putzfrau waren sehr flexibel und wir überbrückten die Zeit mit einem ersten Fish and Chips im nahe gelegenen Pub.
Bei einem nächsten London-Aufenthalt werden wir gerne wieder in diese Wohnung zurück kommen.

The booking process went well and we got good feedbacks with Rowan. When we got to the house met Peter up and gave a nice introduction. The house was cozy and had all sorts of equipment, and we have six people had plenty of space. It was close to the subway and buses, as well as eateries and supermarkets. We had a very pleasant stay in London and would recommend this house if you are many who will stay together.
Bokningsprocessen gick bra och vi fick bra återkopplingar med Rowan. När vi kom till huset mötte Peter upp och gav en trevlig introduktion. Huset var mysigt och hade all tänkbar utrustning och vi 6 personer hade gott om plats. Det var nära till tunnelbana och bussar, liksom matställen och supermarkets. Vi hade en mycket trevlig vistelse i London och kan verkligen rekommendera detta hus om man är många som ska bo tillsammans.
The house is fantastic. Very cozy and with everything you need to not throw anything missing. Peter was very friendly. Very well connected. The neighborhood is very quiet and there are many shops in the inmediaciones.Lo recommend and would definitely repeat.

Even though we have not seen Rowan, it was a very good weekend!
We were very well guided by telephone, and the house is really well-located, just a few meters from a regular bus, subway and 15min.

Also this year my family (6 adults + 1 child) enjoyed the stay in one of Rowan´s properties! First the original booked house was not available on the confirmed date. But Rowan provided us a much better house in the same location - a really nice surprise! Peter and Rowan gave us a very good assistance before and during the stay. When you are looking for a good restaurant nearby the house you can ask Peter because he knows well about delicious places to eat! And of course the property was very clean.
