Reviews for this host's other properties
The room is exactly as shown in the pictures. Not so big but perfect for three people who just want to visit London.
At our arrival, even if We have called Irene a little bit late, we have found the flat immediately (very close to the Wilsden Green's tube station) and the housekeeper who was nearby gave us the keys, few minutes later Irene sent me a message with the wifi password. Even if we didn't met her in person She was available via text message for any inconvenience (which there weren't any).
If your looking for an easy thing this is it! Very close to the city (about 20 minute from Westminster), clean, the flat has every thing you need for a short stay (except for detergent to clean the dishes, salt, oil, vinegar.. but you can easily find them at sainsbury nearby).
I truly recommend this nice flat for your journey in the beautiful London.
Our host was very nice, and explain everything we need. The studio was clean and we enjoyed our trip in London. I recommand it !
We had a lovely experience in London thanks to this apartment. It is close to the underground station and the bus stop that took us to the City of London. It is very clean and confortable except fot the sofa (ideal only for one person). In the neighborhood there are different supermarkets where you can find everything you need. The staff was kind and helped us to bring the luggages to the 2nd floor. We will definitely book again if we go to London in the future.
Unfortunately my experience was rather negative. The room was quite noisy and I was not aware of that. It was quite difficult to sleep. I can't recommend this room to my friends.
The flat has a very strong smell of mold/dirty pipes. We have communicated to the property owner on the very first day and after our 21 days stay no one has come to solve this problem. On top of this, the shower has an electronic water heating device inside it, which is very dangerous. My wife and myself had electric shocks twice. We had to stay 2 days without using the shower until the property owner has replaced the old device for a new one. I wouldn't recommend this flat unless it is your last resort.
A very good location, close to the subway station, and a very good value for money! The apartment is really small but perfect for a short journey. The owners are kind and helpful. I would definitely advise this apartment.
Great studio! Just as it was described and looked exactly like the pictures. Very clean! The full kitchen was shared by two flats, but this wasn't an issue. You also get a microwave and small fridge in the studio. Bathroom was small, but worked fine for my stay with two people. Overall it was a great experience.
The pictures that are on the website are NO WHERE near what the actual apartment looked like! This property is less than filthy! There is a large misrepresentation.
I suggest that someone actually look at this property. The light switches in the hallway didn't work, the shower by no means had new cauking in it, the floor boards in the shower area are rotting and oh, 1/2 roll of toilet paper for 8 days for two people!!
There is a sink yes, nothing to wash with or dry the dishes with, we had to purchase. The dishes were mismatched from somebody's basement junk and dirty, they had to be washed before even using a glass!
This is not even close to what we expected. The pillows were flat and who knows how clean. The two bath towels which were left were well used and the hangers in the closet were so dusty, they couldn't be used....we had nothing to wipe them with unless we wanted to used one of the two towels were were supplied with as a hand towel and a towel for the floor ....
Would never trust the pictures again as a hostel would have been a better option but as the traveller, you are at the mercy of who you trusted and who took your money.
Amazing apartment with really good location! And good service! I would love to stay here again!
I won't recomend this place to any of you...
Troubles have started right from the beginnig. We were travelling in group of 3 adults. After entering the flat, it turned out that there had been foreseen one big bed (we had known about it) and a couch. Of course quality of this couch was far from mint or even good. It was old and even sitting on it wasn't possible because ages of exploatation turned materace into bear trap. Sleeping on it was a nightmare. Besides this, there were just 2 quilts (for 3 people), when on the outside there was 3 degrees Celsius - and the windows as draughty as we were sleeping on the street. It was cold and loudly as hell (under the window there was a bus stop, where - obviously - were stopping buses all the time + passengers talks, while they were waiting for their transport; in the middle of the night - it's rather not nice). For 12 days of our residence we have been given just one roll of a toilet paper... Of course, it's not hard to buy it on ourselves, but for the person who hire an appartament it would be relatively a small cost comparing to the cost of his hiring...
The shower - I have never seen such a mess. A drain has probably never been cleaned, so while having a shower you have been staying in a swamp made by hair (and god knows what else) till your ankles... And what's more, to run the shower, you had to press a button ON THE OUTSIDE of the bathroom! It took us a while to get it...
The whole adventure has finished as unfortunatelly as it has started... For that time (12 days) we have rented 2 flats on the same street from this person (IRENE); there was another adult with us. After 5 from 12 days we were suddenly forced to return to Poland (because of health problems). We wrote a message to owner 2 days before with a question how would it be then from the financial side in this situation. We have been counting at least on a small reduction for these 6 days, while we have been no longer there. Unfortunatelly, our message have remained without any answer - we have paid for 2 flats for whole the time of our residence there (12 days) and we haven't been paid even a cent of return.
Nikomu nie poleciłabym tego zakwaterowania.
Kłopoty zaczęły się już od samego początku. Podróżowaliśmy we 3 dorosłe osoby.
