When in Latchi you should definitely check out one of the beautiful nature trails they have on offer. You will be able to get in touch with the wonderful Flora and Fauna in the area and take in some spectacular views. A popular trail is the Aphrodite Trail which will take you right up to the top of the headland where you will be treated with stunning views from the coast to Aphrodite’s Rock, Polis and beyond. You can then descend on the Aphrodite Baths where you will be treated to more lush nature and wonderful places to eat. An absolute must is taking a short cruise from the Polis harbor to Akamas. Akamas is a unique area, both in a geological and physiographical sense and with regard to Flora and Fauna. Most of the geological formations of Cyprus can be found here creating a geological mosaic. This area also constitutes the eastern most point where many European plant species can be found. If you feel like partaking in watersports, you won’t be disappointed in Latchi. The Latchi Watersports Centre has a huge range of activities including jet skiing, waterskiing, canoeing, banana boat rides, wind surfing and sailing.
