The best tool for getting around is most definitely your own feet, followed by an occasional rental bike. Most people opt to walk around so this will be a new type of traffic to experience - much more pleasant and less polluted. Taxis and transfer buses are also available from the airport at a cost of approximately 80 euros. If you do not plan to use the rental car during your holiday, this will be the best option. Regular buses can be found at a much cheaper rate but they will also take longer in getting to the destination due to the constant stops.
