About Port de Pollença
Port de Pollença was once a simple fishing port, and it used to have a role in the commerce and fishing industry of Mallorca. Nowadays this lovely port is more focused on tourism and it is only 47 minutes away from Palma.

The apartments and villas available are close to the main points of interest, such as the marina, the beach and the famous Pine walk. From the beginning to the end of the bay, the choice is yours! Things to do
Port de Pollença is a wonderful destination to relax in, therefore, the main points of interest are related to that calm and stress-free feeling that visitors look for. The beautiful beach with the mountains as a backdrop is probably the main attraction when staying and visiting this gem. With not much more than the bay, the lighthouse and the military area, the area is set up for relaxation all year round - but don't count on good beach weather during the winter season. Staying at Port de Pollença is also an opportunity to try out new things such as water sports like kitesurfing or a good round at the local golf course. Another thing to do in this lovely town is stroll down Pine walk, a street that goes along the coast line. Don't forget to stop to take pictures; it will be worth it!
Eating and Drinking
Mallorcan cuisine is within the well-known and appreciated Mediterranean style. Holidaying on an island, fish is obviously a must at Port de Pollença and you can easily find it at restaurants, cooked in different ways: grilled, fried, roasted, etc. On the other hand, if you are a fan of the typical Spanish paella, you won't go wrong eating it at this lovely port. Smells and flavours are calling from each restaurant and the biggest challenge is to choose just one as there is so much on offer to people who want to enjoy a tasty Mediterranean meal. When it comes to drinks, wine is king. As in many other European countries, and especially in the Mediterranean area, there are some exquisite wines available. Be sure to ask for a wine that matches your choice of food; asking for the restaurant’s suggestion is always a nice idea.
Palma de Mallorca is home to the nearest airport and is just a 47-minute car drive away, and you can rent a car directly at Palma airport and then drive to Port de Pollença. While at Port de Pollença remember this: on holiday forget the crazy traffic of your own city. The best tool for getting around is most definitely your own feet, followed by an occasional rental bike. Most people opt to walk around so this will be a new type of traffic to experience - much more pleasant and less polluted. Taxis and transfer buses are also available from the airport at a cost of approximately 80 euros. If you do not plan to use the rental car during your holiday, this will be the best option. Regular buses can be found at a much cheaper rate but they will also take longer in getting to the destination due to the constant stops.
