The town of S’illot is situated on the east coast of Mallorca neatly situated between the two larger resorts of Calla Millor and Porto Cristo, and approximately 65 km from the island’s capital and major airport Palma. In keeping with all Mallorca resorts the town offers an excellent array of beaches, and is very popular with families. However, the town does have many distinguishing feature that make a trip here extra special. The town has resisted the over building that has happened to the rest of the island during the tourist boom . Much of the headland is now a protected nature reserve, preserved to remind us of what all of the east coast used to look like before the hotel industry took hold.
