The beautiful city of Izmir, Turkey’s third largest city, is located north of Sarigerme up the coast. This beautiful, bustling port city is a great place to visit if you fancy a day out. It’s just a 15 minute drive from the airport to the resort! The airport is popular with package tour operators including Easyjet, Jet 2 and Monarch Airlines. Sarigerme is a relatively small place so the best way to get around is by walking – everywhere is within walking distance of each other. Scooter hire is a popular with tourists and it’s a great way to explore the local area with the wind in your hair! The small town of Ortaca is located near to Sarigerme and is just a 20 minute journey away. It’s a bustling town and something of a shopping hub for the local area – if you need supplies it is here where you’ll likely come to find them.
