Tintagel is a spectacular place in the far southwest of England, immersed in myth and mystery, which has inspired artists and writers throughout history. They have associated the place with the legend of King Arthur. Also associated with this is the ruined Tintagel Castle, located near Tintagel in the county of Cornwall by the sea. This is said to be the birthplace of King Arthur. Travel back in time in the atmospheric Old Post Office with its famous corrugated roof. The post office was originally a picturesque 14th-century manor house. One of the rooms has been restored to its former purpose as a Victorian village post office. Today, it also regularly hosts family events such as Victorian bread-making and concerts in the garden. St. Paul's Church, built in 1967, is best known for a thirty-thousand-piece mosaic. However, people from all over the world visit the church to read the Miscarriage & Infant Loss Memorial Book on display - a book by which the names of all infants who died from miscarriages or other causes were recorded. Fantastic events bring the site's history to life for families throughout the year.
