Dick Mack's, a mixture of restaurant, pub and cobbler's workshop, is particularly well known.

City Centre

The town centre of Dingle can be reached quickly from the holiday apartment. Strolling through the small streets, past colourful house fronts and Gaelic signs, you will experience the old Ireland.

Gallarus Oratory

About 10 kilometres from town lies the Gallarus Oratory chapel, which looks like an upturned boat. It has defied wind and weather for about 1,200 years.

Connor Pass

At an altitude of 456 metres, this pass on the Dingle Peninsula is considered the second highest in the country. The top of the pass offers fantastic panoramic views of the region.

Blasket Islands

A holiday apartment or cottage in Dingle is an ideal base for a trip to the Blasket Islands. You can reach the uninhabited group of islands by fishing boat only. On the largest island are the remains of an ancient settlement.

In 1983, a dolphin suddenly appeared off Dingle and stayed. Since then, "Fungie" is probably Dingle's best-known resident, and trips to see Fungie are a must on any visitor's itinerary.
